Mustard, I think you might be conflating two things here if I understand you correctly.
Is there a chance we get a secondary shock to the SP when another confluence of events conspires to have investors fleeing into cash again? Yes of course and markets don't like it when big money signals they're waiting for that to transpire either (see Buffet Berkshire anns). Does that mean the capital won't be found to buy the tech if it's proven 100% viable? I don't think that stacks up at all.
