IMO i think were to chummy with western digital, i think JD needs to start having talks with other players, get some interest from competitors, create urgency and FOMO. western digital are happy with the way it is at the moment as theyre not spending a cent and having input as theres obviously been a verbal agreement somewhere down the line so they dont need to make a bid until its pretty much cooked!
