I think all the indicators they are sending out are not showing clarity in an open and honest fashion.
Maybe they do not realise as they are sitting ( giggling ) on something they just can't scream from the roof tops.
I hope that's the case.
Guido and the options debacle I'm afraid just looks bad. Not terminal just bad.
Being extremely vague and overly brief regarding the Chip with spinning the old wheel on a better wafer. Looks a little lame as it's a given that it should get better or WD is in trouble going forward.
Raising or attempting to raise far more dough than previously smells of either Whoops , Covid or WD is at the bar and the tap n go is off line til next year. Not the end of the world either.
Just say it and move on , otherwise they will lose trust and that's where it gets fuggly cause you can't buy that one.
Can't rush reality so just tell your share holders the truth , we're old enough. IMO of course.
