Plenty of great information in that video Nutsy so thanks for posting. My key takeaways from the 2014 video were

1. The process for creating 4D$ ReRam is simpler (3 steps to produce rather than the usual 12 for DRAM I think they said)
2. It's more than 12 times cheaper to produce 4D$ ReRam (see speed/cost slide below - this is possibly due to the first point?)
3. It uses 1000x less power (see slide below - surely that makes this officially an environmentally friendly semiconductor)
4. It's a potentially universal memory (we already knew that it could be tuned/formulated for various applications)
