I could be way off here but this slide could be a key to figuring out what kinds of speeds we're getting in the context of current memory generations. I know that it's been referred to as "DRAM like speed", but due to the NDA shroud of secrecy I believe that we've previously all been unsure what that means exactly. Does that mean that means faster and DRAM, or a bit slower, and is that DDR1, or DDR2 etc etc.

This video is vintage (2014) and we know that they've achieved the "best speeds to date" with some of the most recent wafer lots. But if we use the speeds indicated in this slide as a base case, would anyone with more knowledge about hardware care to comment on the speeds as described here? @hashtagyolo I'm looking at you big fella.

I may be completely wrong, but the speeds in nanoseconds are also also provided with Megahertz pair comparison in that slide table. For the slide in question DRAM is described as "50 / 50". Therefore my assumption is that that's 50 nanoseconds at 50 Megahertz. The 4DS has three values (not sure what the 3rd is) and it states that it's "10 / 10 / 10". Again, my assumption is that it's 10nanoseconds at 10Megahertz.

I found this comparison table here comparing the relationship with speed in nanoseconds with megahertz values. If my assumptions are correct does this mean that the following is true?

4DS speeds - extrapolated 50MHz speed using provided speed at 10MHz
    Clock speedCycle time
110MHz10ns (as per slide - 1/10th of comparison speed in table)
250MHz2ns (1/10th comparison speed from table)

This reads to me like they are trying to indicate in the slide that 4DS reRam is 10 times faster than their 2014 comparison to DRAM? DRAM has come a long way since then but if true then this is still a compelling piece of information.

comparison table here (excluding my comments)
