Have given a link concerning Global Foundries. Seems Global Foundries is not greatly driven by reduced node size but by the functionality of the semiconductors they produce for a great range of manufacturers using their products?
I have little doubt Mr Peter Himes, the new stratagic adviser to the 4DS BofDs and imec are well aware of Global Foundries.
