Not about to make any calls on the basis of 1 day's trades. But there were some hefty trades in there today, with nothing official to help us comprehend.
And yes, the apparent presence of a "Santa bot" is downright confusing and even counter-intuitive.
My best grasping-at-straws is that some peon in a broker may have what he perceives as a large Christmas bonus riding on achieving SP growth for some clients.
But of course I hope I'm wrong!
