My only concern with WD having a non-exclusive license is that it would 'de-value' what the purchaser is buying. The purchaser of 4DS will not have exclusive use of that technology. That exclusivity is very valuable as it enables total control of the technology like in a monopoly. What will they be willing to pay for something that has already been licensed to their rival /competition ?? I'm not sure how that plays out ............
