Thats the main point.
Adesto technical choice (Tellure filament, ultra low current) make it perfect for IoT. That's their market.
It seems that Adesto and Crossbar have the most resilient filament technologies (4 Nmt Thick filament for Crossbar)
Adesto had an agreement with TowerJazz and Panasonic for the production of a 45 nano meters ReRam.
The array architecture is unknow, but they might not need to stack layers of cells if the target is IoT).
They could be rather close to market.
Of course, they have other technologies that could explain the price paid by Dialog. We will probably never know what Dialog was looking for.
