Broker Data for the Year:
CommSec clients have been steadily adding to their positions. What’s interesting is that AIEX clients are on the sell side, which is pretty unusual since AIEX usually caters to retail investors as well. Their accumulation charts usually line up with CommSec’s.
For December, the broker data shows that CommSec clients were averaging down during the price drop, while Citigroup was selling off heavily on December 20.
