I reckon these tariffs will be the best thing that happen to the small cap market. In the long run, short term pain of course.
Small caps are generally going nowhere in this high interest rate environment, any decent announcement gets sold into. It seems Trump is trying to induce a recession (or atleast not worried if there is one), which will in turn lead to lower interest rates. Stagflation is the obvious risk if it goes wrong, but it's worth the risk imo
