It was a different world 40 years ago in the copper mining space. Lots of money made in the last 10 years drilling under and around old high grade pits.

The operators left a 2%+ stockpile as well. As I said, it was a different time, when you only went after the 5%+ stuff, and the tailings dump were often waste with more than 1%+.

Lots of reasons why these things take years to come back too.... HOR just did it very recently, and the price went from 20c to 80c (now back to around the 50c mark).
