Another thing to keep in mind is that Vodafone is offering global phone and data roaming for $5 per day on top of your existing contract. Already a lot of my friends and colleagues are considering changing to Vodafone simply because of this global scale. I think this may be a trend that the telco's are aware of, and a battle might ensue.
