    Since when does the threat of tighter monetary policy not hit the stock market?
    ======

    Because stocks make and do real things and many like CBA pay a decent dividend, 5.45% in the case of CBA. Not bad.
    What does gold do except take up space in someone's safe?

    Venezuela's selling tons of it, sentiment isn't great, demand in India and China is down, production's up, EU stock markets are up, USD's on the way up, October's a scary month for many and that's gone, what is there to like about gold?

    When Warren Buffett abandons the stock market I'll think about it myself. I think the stock market's on the way up, Warren Buffet spent $500m a week loading up during the recent downturn.
