if the ALP is serious about its green credentials they should scrap the favourable tariff treatment given to 4WDs except to those in primary industry. They are a blight on inner suburban roads....no I am not talking about people with genuine need for these monstrosities, farmers etc. If people want to pollute more, maim more (especially those with bull bars) and block the roads at least they shouldn't be favoured over other road users in terms of tariffs.
