Their mass also causes more damage to roads and worse still off-road. No doubt there are legitimate uses for them but most are used to ferry the kids to and from school and to pick up a bottle of milk from the shops. Lugging around a tonne or so of metal for these purposes really isn't efficient. Neither are unfair tarrifs.
