I have a 85 troopy fj75. It's got 600000k on the clock. I had to replace the rear diff centre because the noise was drive me crazy. the diesel engine starts first time. Basic maintenance every six months. the body is getting a little rusty but still structurally sound. Some of the oil seals on the box and transfer case were replaced and the injectors.

Starts first time blows no smoke and get 24 mpg on highway, 20 around town.
