a disco is the best 4by but the motor is a disposable. also the main wiring harness has the tendancy to suck oil from the motor (spills and where it pools in crevases) by acting in a cappilory manner thereby rendering it useless and then requiring rerplacing. cost is about $1000

bmw x5 is useless in sand - especially dont tow anything in the sand or such like territory. dont believe the hype and badge

dont know about the others but overall without a doubt a landrover is the best 4x4 on the market.

a defender is the only car that will travell the great sandy desert on one tank of fuel.
