@kingpins
Thought I'd start a new thread so 4wd talk doesn't take over the other thread (not that it really matters I guess).
The Volvo X60 is priced well and has some great tech if you get the driver assist package.
But the D4 2.4 turbo diesel is getting on a bit now and is due to be replaced with a new generation more efficient, quieter diesel in a year or two (think it is in the X90 now?). Is the current diesel prone to be a bit noisy? How have you found it?
Also the service interval is 15,000 km vs 25,000-33,000 for most of the other brands ... as I do 40,000 km a year this is a bit of a concern. Over a 150,000 km life I figure the X60 will cost me $8000 more in fuel and servicing than some other brands, but the purchase price is lower than the others
Otherwise a smic unit ... any comments?
Cheers
