I have to admit to owning numerous flying Volvo bricks
Bought originally for their suitability for my work, but they grew on me due to reliability, low cost of running and the safety aspect
There are others cars that I would have preferred but they were impractical
Always reminded me of the EH Holden, basic shape with comfort for five, simple engine that went for ever. Ability to improve performance if required, an almost perfect family car, not too big not too small
