I wouldn't bet on it, some reckon that China could end up a basket case, even its leaders, who warn that unless corruption, environmental and other problems are rooted out there could be a revolution.
Some predict China will fall apart, like the former Yugoslavia, a mixup of cultures and religions ruled by the Han chinese.
If you lived in North Korea or Syria I would applaud your efforts hoarding gold, but it looks more like this to me.
