Hey Calvo, if you want to get started on quant or algo trading, I recommend taking a free trial subscription with the Rivkin Report (See here). Unlike other stock advisors, all their portfolios and trading strategies are based on algorithms and most have been doing very well since the market bottomed. The algorithms are explained and the track record given. You might be able to use your TA knowledge to improve their performance even more. The snippet below is from their US up trend strategy.
