My guess; Brussels wont be able to send bulk capital to Wall St for reinvestment. Second half of last year, simultaneously, Russia amassed troops, US withdrew from Ghan, and Germany refused to approve Nord2. Markets coasted. There's a way out, but I agree, not without a cost. But that price could be up on the board already, with the June low. When you look at graphs that connect geo-political events with index prices, they are never look as seismic as the noise; in hindsight.
