DJ1, agree with your sentiments on CSIRO however, other cultures and organizations have their own preferences which provide them with the level of confidence they need. It is a big commitment and both parties will need to make sure they are ready to achieve their responsibilities.
I would be very much surprised if the results vary significantly from the CSIRO results. If the Japanese are looking at pilot testing it will provide more information on the collective performance of the intended flowsheet. They will also be able to sample the intermediate streams, introduce changes/disturbances and note the effect on the intermediate streams as well as the final product.
The Japanese may also be looking more closely at the deleterious elements, rather than the Fe grade.
This is all just one opinion and it would be great to be a fly on the wall or intimately involved. This is exciting stuff...creating a great company. I am sure Tony is starting to buzz.
All good and a step in the right direction.
