I do not think it is a "punt" but exactly the route the Board and Trevor are leaving open for themselves if they have their sums wrong in terms of the subscriptions of eligible holders. More shares would just be slightly more dilutive in any case.
Anyway, that is how I interpret the ASX ANN, the same SPP script that Australasian resident sholders will have received in the post or their email box.
