very strange situation where 1 month of reduced revenues results in 6 months of jobkeeper payments. At least jobkeeper 2.0 seems fairer based on a quarters revenue. I’d heard of cafes etc deliberately closing for a few days in april to ensure they received jobkeeper.

for korvest it seems the timing was fortunate given last April they had the tunnel project on the go whereas this April they didn’t. Having said that, if their revenue fell off a cliff over the next 6 months (April-sept) and they hadn’t applied for jobkeeper, we would be shaking our fists at their incompetence.

I suspect the board decided to keep the dividend flat as I think it might have been even more striking if the dividend was increased.
