Huge discount on the stock price right now. Thinking about buying more tomorrow. I didn’t sell any existing holdings at the recent highs either.
This feels like a knee-jerk reaction from Australian retail investors. ABB is still viewed by many as a “tech” stock, tech stocks always get dumped twice as hard when there is a ripple from US markets, and it’s always an over-reaction. No fundamentals have changed, steady growth from ABB is meeting expectations.
Potential rate rises won’t be enough to stop the OTW acquisition. Only part of that was to be funded by borrowing.
