I know, I often commit such horrible crimes. Damn, not again.

Very often I am right in my first/original thinking, but watching the trades in front of the screen creates doubts in my mind, coupled with fear of missing out very often lead me to jump (up or down, case dependent) prematurely.

One comforting thing is that most of the time I get the big trend right, and thus the cost of my mistakes, when looked back from a wee bit of distance, seems not that bad.

All that said, still, must have discipline!
