My experience over 20 years is the build period is one of the best times to buy, this has the added advantage of nearlology drill results while plant is being built plus the contractors also have a good reputation on delivering on time.
It is once a project is in early production that sometimes the wheels fall off for about 2 to 6 months especially if ore mined does not reconcile with the mine plan expectations for grade ie GCY , BDR , BSM , Australian zircon , Panterra , Central asia resources , Ethan minerals the list goes on ):
