Appreciate your pessimism on management's statement: I too have been caught out on other stocks in the past - But for me, I do not feel this management team has misled me at any time to date and that speaks volumes as we move into producer. This team have more information available to them than most people here and their interpretation of the data shouldn't be dismissed without reflection.
The management has skin in this game too, so a recommendation to shareholders to accept a low-ball take-over bid is highly unlikely which should be reassurance for us all.
Lastly, I agree that macroeconomic conditions are a factor. I'm utilising this opportunity to accumulate like many others here who know the high-value earnings far outweighs the current mispricing by the market.
