Thoughts: Tuesday will be a beautiful day for OPY as will the days following. Massive rises, it will be unstoppable.

Here are some things I included in a different forum, that I thought I'd include here as well. OPY is an incredible company and the CR, as many in that buy line believe as well, is an amazing opportunity for this company to grow into a significant player in the BNPL domain.

The CR will not be to fund a company in a precarious state, but rather, to assist a company in the growth phase become a significant player.
So many people talking about OPY’s somewhat unfavourable cash flow. Remember, all companies in the growth phase make losses. The recent funding and CR are designed to support this phase, not to support a business struggling to grow. OPY is clearly growing, hence, the institutional funding. Uber has never posted a profit, Netflix doesn’t make a profit, apple has never paid a dividend. You invest (spend money) to capture a market share to make a return in future years. Amazon had a negative cash flow for years, the. It reached market penetration, now it piles up the profits. BNPL companies are capturing market share and educating consumers. Once they get used to paying later for their products then they up the fees. But even better than charging the customers they charge the business that are selling the actual goods. The credit risk and interest costs are both passed onto someone else (ethically this is a bit challenging but it’s a great business model). They’re also collecting transaction data at an unenviable rate, but in the long term this becomes a rich asset

There was a great AFR article on CR. CRs will begin to occur again this month but for different reasons to earlier in the year. We will now be seeing the stronger companies looking to raise capital to finance expansions and acquisitions at cheaper costs due to corona virus. Openpay has seen plenty of insider and institutional buying lately, it's emerging as a global leader in the BNPL sector. The potential is huge and it's taking advantage of this crisis to grow to a level at which it poses a significant threat to the larger players. I would not be surprised if this passes $5 on Tuesday
