And in that context; spending $$ for product development and marketing would be considered a waste.

Additionally if looking at aurora operations; they are already going for the retail side (ie: the recreational side) and likely if Australia legislation changes; Cann group will most likely be asked to assist in supplying into the retail market of Australia as they are major shareholder.

If demand in Canada outweighs the supply; no doubt aurora will ask cann group to supply raw materials (which strictly speaking - cann group isn't in the recreational space).

I think Cann group will be taken over. Canopy Growth has already registered their trademarks for recreational use in Australia and Aurora isn't about to let the recreational space be taken over.

I think you are way off in your assumptions, but each to their own. CAN group wont be growing recreational strains... they will be growing specific strains in order to make medicines for specific conditions... medical strains.

Also have a look at the size of auroras new grow facilties like aurora sky and aurora sun... they wont be needing any of CANs weed...
