    Hi all

    Just wanted to share my recent experience.

    Firstly...We have all grown up believing that we should eat daily from the five food groups.

    Quick background on myself first.

    I was very fit and played Aussie rules at a high level up until AGE 25. Im 185cm and until 25yrs was 75kgs and by 36 was 120kgs.

    Im now back to 105kgs in a little over 8 weeks.

    Goal is to get back to 80-85kgs over the next 6 months or so.

    So question is how did I do it?

    Well first lets look at what I used to eat.

    Pasta...yes
    Fast food...yes
    Potato....yes
    Vegetables....yes
    Meat....yes
    Soft drink...yes diet coke...could go 2litres day at times
    Cereal....yes
    Bread....yes

    Ok so what do I mainly eat now?

    Breakfast

    bacon and Eggs or boiled eggs and a coffee with no sugar but plenty of full fat milk

    Lunch

    Tuna and cheese, salad and cream dressing or a steak with cream sauce

    Dinner

    Steak (large) or any other meat with plenty of fat, butter type sauce and some veg.

    These are the main things I now eat


    Butter (not margarine but butter)
    Cream (full cream only)
    Milk (high fat only) and in moderation (a glass a day or so)
    Steak, sausages, bacon, chicken, pork (as much as possible)
    Olive oil, rich sauces.

    So what I now eat is meant to be wrong, yet I lose weight and feel great.

    So why?

    Well I have eliminated carbs, sugar and starch for starters.

    No bread is the main one along with no juice, no pasta, no unsaturated fats, no noodles where possible.


    So in essence im doing a backflip on the whole (eat from the five food groups) and why?

    Well truth is it is wrong, well im warming too it.

    The world was flat once too, so I guess scientist, doctors can get it wrong.

    I have been learning about this eating technique from a swedish doctor who has provided me with detailed facts behind this new way of eating.

    Having now learnt the theories behind the evidence, I am happy to answer any questions as some will think this is also a fad and not fact, so would be good to talk about it and see what conclusion we come to.

    At the end of the day if we can know the tructh, whatever that is, then we can all be healthier.

    It is obvious what we are doing now is not working, and at this rate by 2048 everyone will be obese. So what is making us obese? Guess this is the question.
