Lory, you are very wise indeed.

I have got the whole family on smaller plates, and no-one has noticed.

Also, as a mother of girls who are about to enter their teenage years I am very conscious of how they see food.

The words 'fat' and 'diet' ate totally banned in our household (along with the word 'hate', 'stupid, and 'shutup') and my husband and I don't even talk about what is good or not for you. Just dish it up and eat it. No alternatives.
