Hahaha of all people to complain about the 5 grander becoming overrun by daytraders
. You were one of the first people to be posting regular intra-day trades... Many large buys of IAM, RMX, etc. at the low of the day and sells at the high. The originals; forrestfield, valen, minoil, etc. were generally significantly longer time frames. Immediate updating didn't matter as much because the stocks they were trading rarely had strong moves on the day they were buying but forrestfield would still generally update when any changes were made. Your posts, among a few others, prompted the discussion about whether everyone should be forced to update as the trades happen. No one wanted to be super strict with it so it was left up to the individual.
Some of us, for transparency reasons, decided to update the trades as they happened but now you are "fed up" with these posts? I had a good belly laugh at that one, the sole reason this thread was created was because the regular 5 grander updates were clogging the STT thread. Now you're complaining that the thread for updating 5 granders is getting too clogged with updates of 5 granders? Haha, you certainly have a problem with updating trades as they happen, curious. Who likes dot points? I do! Here's some:
- You have claimed returns that would put you among the best traders in the world.
- Your STT Comp results, where you can't trade retrospectively, are not indicative of the level of skill you've displayed here.
- You "started" the 5 grander with an entire month of retrospective trades and claimed an excellent return.
- You have been by far the most vocal about not having to update changes to the 5 grander as they happen.
- You seem extremely defensive about being able to post the trades retrospectively and have probably actually spent more time arguing that point than it would have taken to just update regularly. You've claimed this is due to time restraints, that you don't have time to post during market hours, yet, I just clicked on your name and counted 23 posts during market hours today. That's not an outlier either, you generally post frequently and at length.
Anyway, I've been updating trades as they happen and am responsible for many of the posts you're referring to in recent days but if that's annoying to people I'm more than happy to stop posting in this thread.
