Triangle patterns, either of the symmetrical or the right-angled variations, provide much more
reliable breakouts when they break-out somewhere between a half and three-quarters of the
way along the pattern (measured until the apex).
Beyond that point, the further they move towards the apex before a "break-out" they are
statistically less reliable and the moves that follow are often less powerful and more likely
to provide false signals. They thus lose much of their forecasting value.
