There are some really really good stock pickers that lurk on Hotcopper that I would say are much much better then a lot of professional money managers.....
I do think you can objectively call which managers are better then who by back engineering their stock selection over a given time period....in stock selection the process is the most important thing IMO....and I have previously spent some time in Wilson Asset Managements office so have good understanding of how their stock selection process works.....
