Funny that, GXY has grown to be over 40% of mine. The last 12 months have blown it up a bit. For the most part, I agree that there should be some spread, I have 7 stocks, and only ever had 8 at most. Like you Gcar, I'm happy to hold this a while longer.
I've held one or two a bit longer than I should've, but then I've also bought into shares that've gone backwards, thereby skewing the "balance" as it were. Been meaning to nut out my sale price for each, but busy with the rest of life.
GXY, specifically, I will hold until post merger, then decide where to. As my first stock, it went down about 40%, bought more on the way down so it looked better lol. I've learnt a lot following this stock, the anguish, and the ecstasy.
