A long term shareholders view on this:

    1. Irvine is not high grade. Cockatoo is near on exhausted and until the company actually prove up and communicate the higher grades on Cockatoo and do something about getting it out of the ground and raising production, its still potential only until its dug up and shipped at volume.

    2. Port Access. True. But that has hardly endeared the market to it. 8.1 cents is testimony to that. If its that attractive why is it languishing where it is?
This has been a big selling point for PLV since its inception that has not been proved up to be relevant to adding value for shareholders.

    3. Competent producer? PLV are producing on Cockatoo only because it was a production facility before they turned up and took it over.
They are producing based on others work before them to get it into production.
No problem with that at all. But PLV have Cliffs to thank for setting it up for them. So lets get that right.

    4. Stable jurisdiction? True. But how stable has the company been independent of that? Not very. A stable jurisdiction is totally irrelevant if the company and its associates have not demonstrated that same stability or maximised that for the benefit of shareholders.

    5. Low cost producer. For how long? Till the 'existing' ore runs out?
The fact is the current status of PLV being a low cost producer has done NOTHING for this companys long term shareholders or its shareprice.
Its production status has not added value where it counts - on the shareprice.
In fact since production PLV has continued to lose value and further erode shareholder investment.

This company is fast approaching October 2013 at a shareprice of 8.1 cents.

When there is a clear demonstration of intention backed up by performance sentiment will change.

Squandered opportunities and wasted potential to this point.
