I think the warehouse levels are more of the concern. Copper prices aren't that bad in the scheme of things, they were just as low 8 months ago. And we are only a few % of the 2012 average.


Warehouse levels are reaching record levels on many exchanges. The copper price hasn't plummeted,but i reckon there is a fear it will.


OZ Minerals short positions in early January were around 7m shares. In February they hit 10m, and I Suspect right now they would be sitting around 13-14m shares. Friday trade saw 25% of all trades as short trades.
