Some interesting factoids for those sweating on the judgment from the Namibian Supreme Court -

There is a positive correlation between the length of time it takes for judgment to be delivered and the likelihood that the Apppeal will be upheld.

Of the 21 civil cases that have been heard in the Namibian Supreme court since late 2005, 14 appeals were dismissed and only 7 cases were upheld (which translates into 33% of cases). These are not great odds for a win.

HOWEVER, of the 12 civil cases where judgment took over 120 days to deliver after the hearing (it has now been 126 days since MLS' case was heard) days, 6 of the 12 appeals were upheld.

This means the odds improve to 50% when the judgment takes this long, which are pretty good considering the share price will probably hit 5c or more if they win the appeal!!

After 180 days its still 50/50.

And where the judgment takes over 210 days, 60% of the appeals were upheld.

    Yee ha!
