gaffa, i am not a fully informed investor in o&g matters [just a punter validated by a hunch etc.], but i am amused by your comments, as detailed.

i have observed some other investors, in various other hot copper o&g postings, use the same expression of "bagger".

grain farmers would relate to the word being used in a broadacre set up.

excuse my ignorance, but just what does that mean in the context that you use it?
