It could, and did, affect the share price?
But we learnt from a tweet, which is common these days with ASX being a corporate entity with vested interests. The rules are becoming far too relaxed for my liking!

The company's announcement last Tuesday literally said 'onsite operations have resumed, drilling to recommence later in the week'

Considering it happened exactly how they said I would think another announcement would have only been needed if they didn't match that info.
