I was listening to Lateline tonight where Grant King from Origin was interviewed. Grant King did agree with the article above, 50% compensation for LNG is just not good enough.

A domestic surge in Gas Fired Power Station demand versus being competitive in the global export game...

A clever way for Labor to double dip - Mineral Resource Rent Tax (or under Oil with LNG) + some new Carbon Tax revenue!!

Another example of how this government has no ability to think the full impact of their policies through!

It certainly wont impact on the supply/demand nature of our ESG asset though (much to my relief). :)
