I work in manufacturing..... well what's left of it. It's crap.
Multiple wages freezes since the GFC and I can't see a future. U.S parent company is doing just fine though. They've just offshored all our work to India & China. Why would a U.S firm really care about Australia?
In the name of "improved productivity", we've just dumbed down roles and written work instructions so that any monkey can do it. Tradies like myself are "too expensive"
