Okay. I'll say one more thing. A while back I said people get too transfixed in text book descriptions of most matters finance. What I describe may not be text book hedge but it achieves a similar outcome. Protects against downside for a period.
In my opinion understanding what sits behind concepts and principles and then adapt those understandings to suit own purpose can be very profitable. Too many get hooked on guru's interpretation of metrics and TA analysis and everything else in markets where notions are built over time. It is critical to have an understanding of all those factors but more critical to apply and tweak them to suit own goal. I'm doing okay, thanks.
