Tomorrow at 5pm will be a big moment for many on the forum that follow PPX .
There are many many scenarios other than the financials that could come out within the Half Year results .
The share price of PPX and PXUPA could move dramatically either way depending on these scenarios.
Be good to hear the views of the forum on what they expect.
My view is that Boon will either pull the pin tomorrow and allow Andrew price to join the board or stand on his pedestal and beat the drum talking to shareholders about how far the company has come and how they are on the cusp of turning around the companies return on revenue in the 2nd of half of 2012 and beyond.
The fact we have seen no resignations to date makes me think it is the latter , and the board is confident in its covenants and ability to return to profit under the helm.
If that is the case from what I read , Mr Price will need 50% of votes to vote out harry boon , which is far higher than having to win the vote .
Getting 300m shares out of the 600m on issue to vote is a difficult task let alone having all of them vote no .
It is a good start that Orbis with 105m shares are on board , but that is still 195m short .
Hopefully the volume of the last 3 weeks has been going to the Price hands and ready to vote , otherwise post tomorrow , stock may be very hard to get .
I just hope the chair is not acting in his own self interest
, and is representing the best interests of the business and its shareholders.
Others opinions on their expectations would be great
On the financials I expect we will see a loss as predicted, but a lot of commentary on how costs have been reduced , maybe a fraction better than anticipated and signaled to the market if Mr boon is going to try hang on, with revenues around 2 billion for the half year.
I think come Thursday after the webcast the PPX stock will be 20c or 7c depending on the markets view of the report and what scenarios are going to take place re the board and the business .
