I agree about SMM price being up is great for Paladin. Incidentally, PDN.TO was up over 8% in Toronto overnight.

Paladin need to:

1. Do a deal with Areva for the 10% of SMM that Areva hold

2. Buy as many SMM shares on market as it can, at these still low prices

3. Come out with an announcement in the next day or so as to how they're going to move forward now that mining has been given the green light. An announcement that the market simply would not be able to ignore.... We need JB at his "chook-feeding" best.

I know that watching the SMM price isn't all that meaningful, as it is on very low volume - there just aren't that many SMM shares out there in retail land.

But to see the PDN price going backwards after such a momentous announcement by the Qld Govt is VERY frustrating. And it's not "buy the rumour, sell the news" - they haven't been buying the rumour, and there haven't even been any rumours to buy anyway...!
