Samson is putting the foundation in place to raise capital. However IMO they believe they will drill some successful wells in Fort Peck and the Niobrara which will cause a nice little spike in the share price, and get them to somewhere near 25-30c. Then they will look to offer a slight discount and raise cash for a big drilling campaign.

As they have $42m in the bank, TB and the other directors would have no need to raise cash now and dilute shareholders at such a low level with so much potential on the horizon. They themselves have massive holdings and want to create value for themselves and us.

I was absolutely shocked when I saw the announcement, but after reflecting, I think TB knows we are onto something big and is just getting the party hats out before everyone arrives fro the big bash!
