Cutty did say APT going to face competition because its nothing more than a credit card purveyor - and there are essentially no barriers to new entrants.
NAB are offering a zero interest credit card now - sounds like competition to me!
APT's negligible margins are going to get crushed.
Nothing new or exciting here and no more than a simple lay-buy system without the safety rails of traditional credit providers.
Normal credit providers care about who they lend to for good reason.
With no credit checks and then lending money to poor people most likely to default when everything does go tits up......what could possibly go wrong.
Its a ponzi - but perhaps different to some of the previous headline grabbers.
Everyone trusted and believed Bernie Maddoff for along time too.
For your sake, I hope APT does not similarly blow up when the bad debts start to mount..........or when they run out of new territories to crow about.

Most of us who have been around for a while know where APT is heading and have enjoyed the ride ,there are few shares that go from IPO to making money to paying a dividend most regularly mine their shareholders as they go along.
BNPL has low barriers to entry and price cutting will see profits pushed out further not like a rival to CSL where rivals have years and years of building up knowledge before going into years of testing.
